We ended up at Feast of the Hare for four hours, which was the right length of time. I found it a little hard... like jumping into cold water... I left Ottawa under so many strong emotions, and so quickly. I didn't get to talk to everyone I would have liked to, but almost. People were very friendly, and exactly how I left them. It was like three months had passed instead of eight years. A bit uncanny really.
Bug was a hit in her Elizabethan outfit and I was so proud to be able to show off my handsome hubband and my adorable bug!
Paul fought in his first ever tourney, took out a knight, and received many bruises plus a whole bunch of instruction after the tourney. He was in little fighter-geek heaven. Sorry Borealis, your instructional aspect is so not comparing well to the eastern kingdoms.
Today we went out for walk in the glorious weather and I had a long nap. I picked up a cold at Hare and I'm glad I made the decision not to let Bug circulate.
Tonight we return to Montreal. I've decided I need, as we say to Paul's teenage son, an Attitude Adjustment concerning Montreal. I'm going to try a little harder to make this relationship (me + Montreal) work.
Bug's new habit is trumpeting like an elephant, which involves a complicated lip/bubbling/vocal combination. It's very funny.
- Well, that was fun

Christabel was looking for you later in the afternoon to compare elizabethan baby garb (her daughter is just a little older than bug), not sure if she caught up with you or not.
